"Excellent service and fair pricing. Steve is knowledgeable, kind and good at what he does. I contacted Steve to fix a broken KitchenAid mixer. He replied almost immediately and was very easy to schedule with. While he provided a cost range in advance, he informed me that he would only be able to give me an accurate price estimate upon taking apart the machine and identifying the problem. He also said that if I decided not to have it fixed (as I wanted to weigh this against the cost of a new machine) that he would reassemble it and there would be no charge. As promised, Steve confirmed with me before proceeding with the repair and had it completed in 24 hours. His pricing was extremely fair, he replaced a broken part, and he included a tune-up (alignment, replacing the grease, cleaning the machine) - all of which needed to be serviced as well. Highly recommend."

"I have a vintage Kitchen Aide mixer that had never been serviced. Just before Christmas, my mixer motor started making a strange sound. I use my mixer quite a lot and knew something was off. I called Steve and expected him to say he could get to it after the first of the year. Surprisingly, he said to bring it in and he would see what needed to be done. He took the mixer apart and discovered that 3 gears were broken and it desperately needed cleaning and greasing. He told me the price and I was thrilled he could salvage my machine for 1/3 the cost of the new ones that are not made as well as the old vintage ones. Steve had my machine up and running like new within 24 hours. Nice, competent and reasonable pricing from Steve. Highly recommend"

"Steve is the guy to go to for KitchenAid repair and service! My machine is about 74 years old, not a typo, and ran but made a squealing noise at higher speeds. The oil was so old, it was separating. Steve fixed it to where it acted as new and even searched out newer, metal bowls to see if they fit where the glass one goes. Very helpful, courteous, and fast. "When my terrific Cuisinart Smart Power Duet blender/food processor of many years died, I replaced it with a used allegedly-good replacement, big mistake. So at half the price of a new Cuisinart, Steve dismantled my 2 dead Cuisinarts, made one wonderful new fully functioning blender/food processor within a few days, and sent me a video showing my blender in action. "All of a sudden my built in microwave stopped working. It was early Saturday morning. I googled "appliance technicians" and my first call was Steve's Appliances. He asked me to send him a picture of the appliance and model number. A few minutes later he called and said he could be there in an hour. The door latch on my microwave was busted, a piece of plastic had broken off which kept the spring from attaching. We talked about ordering a new door or just buy a new microwave, he suggested a few places to shop and said they would do the service. Then he said "let me try something." He took the loose spring, found another place to attach it, then gently attached it to the other unbroken hole. The spring held. He closed the door, we tested it out and presto it worked! It was kind of genius, and Steve obviously knows his microwaves. Plus it saved me a lot of money and the hassle of getting another microwave before Thanksgiving.
