Recently fixed Waring Pro blender from 1950 (Model 51BL23)

Had a vintage Waring Pro 51BL23 blender come in this week. Motor was running, but the blades weren’t catching. Turned out to be a worn drive coupling—pretty common on older units. Swapped it out, checked the seals, tightened everything up, and it’s back to blending like it should.

These older Waring blenders are built solid. Most of the time, a simple repair like this saves them from being tossed.
